Your dog's comfort is our number one priority! We want them to love wearing their bandana, so measuring for the correct size and fit is very important.
Please note that all bandanas have been pre-washed to minimize the potential of shrinkage. Cotton and linen bandanas can still shrink if not washed properly, so please refer to our care guide here.
Place a measuring tape around the widest point of your dogs neck so that it fits snuggly. Please be careful not to wrap it too tight. Alternatively, if you do not have a measuring tape, use a piece of string to measure around your dogs neck and then measure the length of the string.
Once you have the circumference of your dogs neck measured, add a MINIMUM of 1-2 inches, and up to 3-4 inches depending on your dogs size and the amount of fur they have. This will allow the bandana to fit comfortably on your dog.
For example, Bear's neck is about 10" when measured snuggly. He fits the small sized bandanas perfectly as we've added 2-3 inches to that to accommodate for all his extra fur and to ensure a more comfortable fit!
